The Indianapolis Zoo is expected to have a full-time employee at the zoo for the first time in the past two decades.
The zoo announced Saturday night that it has hired a new full-timber employee for the 2018-19 season.
Zoo Executive Director Dan Lohse announced the hiring in a statement.
The new full time employee will be responsible for overseeing the Zoo’s animal care, operations, facilities and operations.
Lohse said the hiring is an immediate improvement to the Zoo and an opportunity to expand our team of dedicated, passionate, caring individuals.
